Dr. Jones currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer at Morehouse College.
With over two decades of experience in the information technology sector, Dr. Jones is a seasoned leader celebrated for her expertise in higher education and exceptional track record in driving transformative initiatives. Dr. Jones is a proud alumna of Mississippi State University, where she completed her undergraduate studies and post-graduate work. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, a Master of Science in instructional technology education, and a Ph.D. in instructional technology education with a focus on community college leadership. In addition to her recent appointment to the OculusIT Advisory Board, she serves as a member of the Microsoft Advisory Board and Strata Information Group Advisory Board.
As the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Morehouse College, Dr. Jones has spearheaded numerous strategic initiatives, demonstrating her proficiency in integrating technology platforms to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
