Chastin Braithwaite ’24 is a sociology major with a concentration in gender and family studies from Atlanta, Georgia.
As a creative scholar, Chastin uses digital art and content creation as a means of expression and storytelling. During his time at the College, Chastin displayed leadership in the creative world while serving as the Creative Director for the 2027 New Student Orientation and Chief Brand Officer for the Morehouse College Student Government Association.
In losing his Morehouse brother, Hugh Douglas ’25, at the start of his senior year, Chastin turned to his creative nature to heal and commemorate Hugh’s life and legacy by launching the clothing line, “Maintain Composure.”
